Communication with the camera is established using the Base connector on both the Camera Link camera and the Camera Link board. Ensure that the camera is connected to the Base connector of the Camera Link board. For cameras equipped with two Camera Link connectors, either Connector 1 or the Base connector of the camera must be connected to the Base connector of the Camera Link board.

If the camera is connected to the Base connector of the Camera Link board but communication cannot be established, the communication port setting in the CLCtrl2 software may be incorrect, or power may not be supplied to the camera.
Check the communication method provided by the Camera Link board (DLL or virtual COM port) and configure it appropriately. Also verify that power is being correctly supplied to the camera.
