Is there a way to restore the DVI/SDI camera to its factory default settings?

For STC-HD213DV/SDI and STC-HD213DVN/SDIN,
it is possible to return to the initial settings using the OSD or software.
For STC-HD93DV/SDI, STC-HD133DV/SDI, and STC-HD203DV/SDI,
there is no function to restore factory defaults using OSD or communication software.
However, you can save the initial setting file with the communication software before making any changes,
and then use this file to restore the camera to its factory default (initial) settings.

Procedure for Configuration through the OSD

  1. Connect the controller to the camera, and then select “MEMU.”
  2. On OSD PAGE6 “EEPROM”, select “RESET”.
You will be prompted with “Are You OK?” — please execute the reset.
After execution, a confirmation message (COMPLETE) will appear.
When you turn the camera power off and on again, the settings will return to the factory defaults.

Procedure for Configuration through the Communication Software

  1. Connect the JIG-USB-HD to the camera, and then start JTBCtrl.
  2. Select “Read ALL”.
  3. On the “Comm(C)” menu, select “EEPROM Initialize.”
  4. When the confirmation screen appears, select “OK.”
  5. Restarting the camera will restore the settings to the factory defaults.

For STC-HD93DV/SDI and STC-HD133DV/SDI,
please use HD133Ctrl.
For STC-HD203DV/SDI, please use JTACtrl.

Procedure for Saving the Initial Setting File

  1. Connect the JIG-USB-HD to the DVI/SDI camera, and then start JTACtrl (HD133Ctrl).
  2. Select “Read ALL” button.
  3. On the top tab, select “One Shot” under “Mode”.
  4. Select the “Read EEPROM (R)” button, enter a folder name, and select “OK” to save the setting file.

Procedure for Loading the Initial Setting File

  1. Connect the JIG-USB-HD to the DVI/SDI camera, and then start JTACtrl (HD133Ctrl).
  2. On the top tab, select “One Shot” under “Mode”.
  3. In SettingName, choose the initial setting name.
Select “Write EEPROM (W)” to save the initial settings into the camera’s internal EEPROM.
  4. Restart the camera after completion.
