What is the difference between free-run mode and trigger mode?

Free-run mode: The camera automatically performs exposure and image output continuously.

Since exposure and image acquisition are controlled by the internal camera timing, when capturing images via software, there is a possibility that the acquired image may not match the intended timing.

Trigger mode: Exposure and image output are performed according to the timing of an external trigger signal input. By applying the trigger signal at the desired timing, you can obtain images exactly when needed.
