How should the STC-MxV133U3V be configured to operate at 1,000 fps output?

Output resolution and frame rate are determined by the selected camera operating mode.

For 1,000 fps operation, go to Remote Device -> Image Format Control -> Image Mode and select Mode 7, 8, 9, or 10. Refer to the camera specifications for detailed information on each mode.”

  • In Modes 7 to 10, the sensor outputs 4bits data, which is converted to 8-bit within the FPGA.
  • Mode 10 supports a maximum frame rate of 2,000 fps.
  • Selecting Mode 7 to Mode 10 enables 1,000 fps image output from the camera, but depending on the PC environment (such as the performance of the USB 3.0 host controller), the actual output speed may be lower than 1,000 fps.
