FAQ Categories
For Camera Link cameras equipped with two Camera Link connectors, what are the usage differences between connecting with one cable and connecting with two cables?
With a single cable connection, image transfer is performed using the Base configuration.
With two cable connections, image transfer using Base, Medium, Full, or Deca (10 TAP) configuration becomes possible, and the configuration can be selected through the camera file and camera settings.
Ensure that the TAP configuration of the camera and the TAP configuration defined in the camera file are the same.
When using Full or Deca configuration, use Camera Link cables that support the Full configuration.
Camera Link Output Configuration
| Configuration | Image Transfer Speed | Number of Camera Link Cables |
| Deca (10TAP) | 850 MB /s | Two |
| Full (8TAP) | 680 MB /s | Two |
| Medium (4TAP) | 510 MB /s | Two |
| Base (1-3TAP) | 255 MB /s | One |
