Change the numbering rule for serial number of camera
We’ll change the numbering rule for serial number of camera due to increasing number of production cameras.
■ Outline of numbering rule change
・There is no change in the number of digits.
・Type of Third digit that represents month of production is changed from one type (A to M) to two types (A to Z). * excluding I and O
・Type of Fourth digit that represents unique number is changed from sixteen types (0 to 9 and A to F) to thirty two types (0 to 9 and A to Z). * excluding I and O
・This change is applying from April 2018 production.

Seven digits numbering rule for serial number of camera: AABCDDD
AA: Lower two digits of year
B: Month of production with alphabet

B: Month of production with alphabet (two alphabet represent one month. use second alphabet when unique number with first alphabet reaching to Z999)
