Conclusion of Business Transfer Agreement

SENTECH Co., Ltd (Headquarters: Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Masumi Kawakami, President) has signed the transfer of business contract with Omron Corporation (Headquarters: Kamigyo-ku, Kyoto City, Yoshida Yamada, CEO), a leading automation company.

The transfer of business is scheduled to be completed at the end of June after satisfying the conditions of the contract and the new company name is expected to be Omron Sentech Co., Ltd. from July 3, 2017.  In the future, as a member of the Omron Group, we will work on the development of factory automation technology using cameras, and will further evolve in our industrial camera capability.

However, we will keep providing cameras und the name of Sentech as it used to. We will continually work for you.

OMRON Corporation is a leading company in automation developed for a wide range of industries, such as control equipment, electronic components, automotive electric parts, social infrastructure, health care, environment with its own sensing & control + Think technology as its core. As a member of the Omron Group we will continue to strengthen our capabilities in industrial use camera technology. Combined with Omron’s various industrial robots and quality inspection instruments, cameras will be attached to all production processes such as processing, assembly and inspection to enable the transfer of image information, thereby drastically improving quality and productivity for more innovative products. We will continually work on the technologies that bring innovation to manufacturing sites.
