Notice on EU Cyber Resilience Act Compliance for USB3 Vision Camera Series (Latest Update)
As previously announced, with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847) (*link to the official EU law website) (hereinafter referred to as “EU CRA”) taking effect on December 11, 2027, we plan to sequentially release EU CRA-compliant USB3 Vision models.
Since the current USB3 Vision camera series does not meet the EU CRA standards, we plan to discontinue the production of the current models in conjunction with the release of the EU CRA-compliant USB3 Vision models.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and kindly ask for your understanding regarding these circumstances.
1. Discontinued Products / Model Numbers
Standard models of the “STC-USB3 Vision Series”
*Excludes OEM products.
*Currently, models with other interfaces are not affected.

We plan to update our latest SDK, the Sentech SDK, to be EU CRA-compliant. Customers using legacy SDKs are requested to migrate to the Sentech SDK. A separate migration manual will be provided. |
